Not every company is ready or able to align its local policy, manufacturing resources or number of purchasing sources with this requirement. Relationships with local Chinese suppliers are associated with risks or require an unreasonable amount of effort. In the search for qualified Chinese suppliers, particularly when small numbers of parts are involved, manufacturer's of premium products quickly come up against a wall. OEMs therefore frequently have difficulty maintaining their set quality and cost levels. |
