In screen printing, the printing ink is pressed through the fabric of a printing template by means of an inking system. The network-like fabric has ink-permeable and impermeable areas corresponding to the motif. The layer of ink that it is applied in screen printing is approximately 10 times as thick as that applied in other printing methods.
