Cast housings
Cast housings can be designed much more freely than other types of housings.
Simulations and FEA techniques enable the construction of streamlined optimum cross-sections and housing parts that are highly complex. Depending on the load and concentration of stress, walls can be reinforced or minimized to reduce weight. Due to the high tooling costs, cast housings are more economical when a greater number of units is produced.
We produce cast housings especially of aluminum and zinc (die casting) and plastic (injection molding). Housings can also be made of cast magnesium and cast brass. We can also economically produce cast housings in small batches using optimized casting dies and molds.
We offer consultation about optimized casting methods.
