Mechanical polishing

Decorative parts, friction bearings or fittings frequently need to be polished to a high-gloss. To produce a high-quality polish of demanding components, we use the refined methods of buffing, polish honing and electrolytic polishing. G.W.P. relies on experienced polishing experts. Before polishing, the components first need to be finely ground.

Electrolytic polishing / Chemical polishing

High-gloss metal surfaces can be achieved with electro-polishing or chemical polishing. Electro-polishing uses the reverse galvanic process in electrolytic baths to produce a final roughness of 1.5 - 0.5 µm. Electrolytic polishing requires time-consuming preliminary mechanical grinding and polishing.
